  When I first moved to Davenport as a student a year ago, I searched for a church community that had a good mix of people (not just student age), fun music and an upbeat message. It didn't take me long to find Legacy! I didn't necessarily call myself a Baptist, but Legacy doesn't discriminate. I started coming regularly, and now I love coming every week and feeling recharged. When I'm going through a rough time I know I can talk to nearly anyone here, including Pastor John. When I'm happy people here will actually celebrate with me! I've invited friends to come with me to services, and I've never worried that they won't be welcomed or accepted. Thanks be to God that He led me to Legacy.
